Liberation's Square

Liberation's square
better known as the square of the "bottoms"

It lies along the Aurelia road at the cross-road with Eugenio Chiesa Avenue, in the centre of the town.
In the middle it is dominated by a white local marble fountain with one circular basin adorned by four "putti" surrounding a large sphere from which many water jets stream out.
Few trees remain in a scenery of modern palaces which was once rich in vegetation.
